Tempeh or tempe is a traditional Indonesian soy product, that is made from fermented soybeans. It is made by a natural culturing and controlled fermentation process that binds soybeans into a cake form. This is a traditional southeast Asian preparation for tempeh–highly flavored with coconut milk, curry spices, and seasoned with tangy tamarind. Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat.
