- Get bread, fish
- Make ready 1/2 Tinned sardines in sunflower/olive oil
- Take 2 slice White bread
Lightly toast one side of each slice of bread and then divide the sardine mixture evenly between the slices. While the toast is still warm, immediately rub it (aggressively!) with the cut side of the garlic clove, then spread toast generously with butter. Top butter with tomato slices and lightly salt them. - Remove half of your tinned sardines with a fork & distribute them evenly on the two slices of bread,gently mashing them.
- Take a tiny amount of the oil from the tin with a teaspoon & drizzle it over the mashed sardines
- Place under the grill on medium/high for 2-3 minutes.
- Cut into triangles & enjoy!
